For my birthday yesterday (I’m 25… how weird is that? That’s half way to 50!) Emily let me get something that I have been wanting for a good long while: a new desk! My old desk is one that I’ve had clear back since Junior High(!) and has always felt pretty small and cramped for me, especially since I work on computers all day! (How sad is that? A programmer without a good desk!) So yesterday night we went out and picked one up. YAY!
I’m a bit excited. Can you tell?
Of course, great deskness does not come without a price… I started putting it together at 10:00 this morning and finished it (after a couple of breaks for food) at about 7:30!!! Wow, my arms have rarely hurt so bad! And of my poor neglected dog sat there watching me the whole time, trying to figure out why exactly a pile of boards and screws were more fun to play with than him.

Horray for the desk! I love it! Very nice looking. It is weird that your 25! Makes me feel old. But not as old as your dad… he will be 50 next week!!!

So i was thinking to myself “i haven’t been to brandon’s gallery for a while. i woder if brandon’s put any art back up on it.” So i come here, and there’s a blag. And it’s a nice desk and all — big enough to hold three computers for increased efficiency — but since this is tojiART.com and all, shouldn’t there be some art up on it somewhere?
